Q: |
Are there any restrictions on the number of transfers I can make in any given month from my savings account to my checking account? |
A: |
If you do the transaction in person there is not a restriction on the number of transfers that you can make from your savings account to your checking account.
There is however a federal regulation, Regulation D, that limits the number of electronic or telephonic transfers that you can make from your savings account to six transfers per month.
This includes any ACH withdrawals from Savings, Touch Tone Teller transfers Advantage Internet Banking transfers, transfers over the phone and overdraft transfers to checking from savings.
